Doc on Deck is a Direct Specialty Care Clinic, established 2025
-
Out of community demand, a Direct Primary Care Clinic has been added in 2026
-
The traditional family physician in the community has been overtaken by corporate healthcare, where physicians are employed by an institution. They are responsible for patient satisfaction without being granted the authority necessary to promote such goals.
-
Minimal reimbursement from health insurance companies and corporate greed are at the forefront of the above dilemma.
-
I do not accept health insurance, as it is utilized as pre-paid healthcare. The authority to determine what treatments are appropriate for you are given to someone who does not know you, nor are they medically trained.
-
DoD seeks to get back to the roots of medicine. I am a local physician, hanging my shingle at at Home Plate, carrying a first aid kit on my golf cart while volunteering at Flash club cross country. You will see me on the cart paths of PTC with my family or pups. You will see me worshipping at various churches as I find my church home.
-
My goal is to have a patient family comprised of a couple hundred local friends, not a "patient panel" that includes thousands of people with whom I do not know. Ultimately, I'd like you to think of me as your doctor, friend and neighbor as I serve you, the PTC community.
